Martin A Worrall, MD Martin A. Worrall, M.D. is an ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon whose area of expertise is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the retina and vitreous. He completed his undergraduate degree at Williams College in Massachusetts and his medical degree at the University of Connecticut. He continued his medical training with an internship at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Worrall finished his post graduate studies at St. Louis University Eye Institute where he continued as a faculty member and instructor. He then went on to complete a vitreoretinal fellowship at Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Worrall is experienced in comprehensive management of medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous, including severe diabetic eye disease, trauma and proliferative vitreoretinopathy. He is also a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.

Retina Centers Northwest, East, and Southwest offices are fully equipped with state-of-the art technology for diagnosis and out-patient treatment of retinal disorders. The highly trained staff strives for excellence in care, and participates in providing consultative, diagnostic, and treatment services within one office visit when needed, an important time saver for working and out-of-town patients. Treatment of retinal tears and detachments, as well as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration, constitutes a major part of the practice.

Dr. Worrall provides outstanding retinal care to Tucson and its neighboring communities. Dr. Worrall is Board Certified in Ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He accepts patient referrals by other eye care professionals and physicians, and is available to provide care for anyone with a history of retinal problems or in need of a second opinion. Dr. Worrall accepts Medicare Assignment, and is a participating provider for all area health plans, including AHCCCS and TRICARE.
